Application Information/Requirements
Welcome to the Human Resource Department of the Plummer-Worley School District. At this time, we are conducting an open recruitment for all positions within the district. These include the following:
Certificated Personnel: Certificated positions include teachers, counselors, and others which require an Idaho education credential issued by the State Department of Education. To apply for a certificated position, you will need to submit the following:

Special Requirements for Bus Drivers: Bus drivers must pass a pre-employment physical and submit to pre-employment and random drug screening. Bus drivers must also submit an additional Bus Driver Application.
CHILDCARE CENTER TO OPEN IN FALL, 2021
Beginning in Fall, 2021, Lakeside Schools will offer a childcare center for staff. The facility will be centrally located on campus and we have hired Kimberly Campbell as the Director. Maintenance crews are hard at work painting, prepping, and preparing the room for use by children.
$1,000 SIGNING STIPEND FOR ALL BENEFITTED EMPLOYEES
All benefitted employees will receive a $1,000 Retention/Signing stipend for the 2021-22 school year. This includes newly hired employees. Stipends are based upon working the entire school year and will be paid periodically throughout the school year.
District Library Director-Media Specialist
The District Library Director/Media Specialist/Test Coordinator will implement and facilitate the district wide library program to include planning and managing the library programs; promoting reading through the library; maintaining a balanced library collection; maintaining the proper learning environment in a Library Media Center; assisting students, individually or in groups, in learning information literacy skills and library technology, performing clerical duties necessary to maintain library material and inventories; and consulting with teachers for specific assignment emphasis. Will serve as district test coordinator and facilitate the assessment program as required by federal, state and district guidelines.
Preferred candidates will hold or be working toward a degree in education, literacy, library science or a related field, or such combination of education and experience as deemed appropriate by the administration. Background knowledge in core subject areas, previous teaching, or library experience.
Must be competent with Excel.

Wage is $19.32 to $23.92 DOE. Position closes when filled.
School counselor sought to serve primarily students in grades PreK-6 and collaborate district wide with secondary counselor. The successful applicant will be able to maintain a dynamic counseling program integrated into the school setting at Lakeside Elementary School and collaborate with community agencies while adhering to school policy and state and federal for the benefit of all students. The successful applicant will be able to maintain strong interpersonal relationships with students, help them problem solve and improve on a social and emotional level, while supporting their academic needs.
The district is currently accepting applications for a school bus driver. Applicants must successfully pass a DOT physical and test negative on a drug and alcohol test, have a good driving record, hold a commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements or be able to obtain a CDL with appropriate endorsements. The district will provide training to help in obtaining the CDL and behind-the-wheel training for the state skills test. Bus drivers can earn between $14.16 to $18.46 per hour DOE.
Essential functions include manual dexterity to perform repetitive hand/wrist/arm motions and use of feet to operate a vehicle; personal mobility, flexibility, and balance which permits the employee to manage a vehicle, occasionally lifting or moving objects that weigh up to 50 pounds including opening a bus hood and chaining up a bus; job tasks require occasional climbing, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping with frequent twisting.
This position is for a regular route driver, Monday through Friday, all days that school is in session, and includes four hours per day. Additional trips may be available for activities and field trips. A full benefit package is included.

The district is now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year for elementary classroom teachers. Qualified applicants should submit the requirements listed above for Certificated staff.
Special Education Paraprofessional
Special education paraprofessional needed to work under the direction of certificated teachers. The paraprofessional will either work one-on-one with a student throughout the school day, in compliance with the student's IEP, work with small groups of students, or work with students within varying classrooms throughout the day.
General Information: Candidates must have at least two years college (60 semester credits), an Associate's degree, or be able to pass the paraprofessional Praxis exam within 30 days of hire.
