State Testing Is Coming Up

State testing will begin soon, and we want to help students feel confident and prepared. These assessments provide one measure of student learning and help guide school improvement efforts. Most importantly, we want students to simply do their best.

How Families Can Help:

• Ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep.

• Provide a healthy breakfast each morning.

• Keep morning routines calm and on time.

• Avoid scheduling appointments during testing days if possible.

• Offer encouragement and reassurance.

A simple message goes a long way:
“Just do your best — we’re proud of you.”

State tests are only one snapshot of learning. They do not measure creativity, character, kindness, or potential. Thank you for partnering with us to support your child during testing season.
